Installation instructions:
The installation is very easy and takes less than
minute.
The free version of Aqua Drop-Down Menu
destributive consists of
* Aqua Drop-Down Menu MXP
file
* Softery Menus UI MXP file
* Softery IE Flash
Problem Solver MXP file
To install all these extentions
use Macromedia Extension Manager included into Dreamweaver.
You can download the latest version of Macromedia Extension
Manager here
1) Install Softery Menus UI (double
click on "softery_menus_ui.mxp" file)
2) Install Softery IE
Flash Problem Solver (double click on "softery_ie_fps.mxp"
file)
3) Install Aqua Drop-Down Menu (double click on
"menuXXXtry.mxp")
If you get a message that this
extention is already installed click to reinstall without
doubt.
In Dreamweaver:
open your document ->
insert menu using this way: Insert => Media => Aqua
Drop-Down Menu
To edit configure menu according to your
needs you should select menu object in Design view, then right
click -> Softery Menu Setup.
If you do not see
the "Softery Menu Setup" tab after right click on the menu you
did not install Softery Menus UI extention. You should install
it as it will help you configure the menu.
Aslo you
can see an online demonstration how to insert the menu into a
document and to configure it with Softery Menus UI.
The help provided with each menu describes all
possible menu functions.
The problem in Internet
Explorer is solved for "ACTIVATE CONTENT" note. Your visitors
do not have to click twice to work with Flash objects on a web
page. After inserting the menu into your document and saving
it use "Commands -> Softery IE Problem Solver" to delete
"Activate Content" note.
